I have run in several Boilermakers, and I have to say that this was the first year in which I actually had a great time during the run. I got into the spectators and the various entertainment along the course, and it was really fun to see the race in a different perspective.

This was the strongest run ever for me. I feel accomplished, and since a lot of this strength comes from the Carbone wellness program, I feel like I owe part of it to you. Thank you Carbone for all that you do to promote wellness and for supporting your employees that participate in or help with the Boilermaker.

The Boilermaker is the best race in this community and it’s all due to the participants, spectators, and the sponsors.  And I am proud to celebrate with my neighbor Shawn as he finished in a personal best of 59 minutes!!! Everyone is a winner in this event.
